Christina (Jones) Suiter

Christina Suiter, 73, of Fishers, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born January 16, 1951, in Anderson to Donald and Elizabeth (Ellingwood) Jones. Christina graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1969. She married her high school sweetheart and was an amazing mother to her three children. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother.

Christina moved to Georgia for many years and then to California. She held several administrative positions over the years for Fall Creek Christian Church, Southern Plantations Group, and Robert W. York and Associates. Her main life focus was her church and her family. Christina had previously been an active member of the Fall Creek Christian Church and the Fortville Christian Church.

Christina is survived by husband Phil Suiter, whom she married November 17, 1969, children: Jennifer (Jay) Williams of McCordsville, Melissa (Terry) Phillips of Canton, GA and Phillip Suiter of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren Josh, Cooper and Sophie Williams, Ty and Hadley Phillips, Garret Suiter, siblings: Suzanna Wilcoxon, Beth Kostuck, Paul Jones, Colleen Barker and her beloved 12 year old labrador retriever, Bo. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service to celebrate Christina’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 5:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Burial of Christina’s cremated remains will take place at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
