Tyler Ross Vail
April 16, 1992 – February 10, 2026
Tyler Ross Vail, 33, passed away on February 10, 2026. Born on April 16, 1992, Tyler lived a life full of strength, laughter, and deep devotion to his family.
A passionate EMT with IEMS, Tyler dedicated himself to helping others with courage and compassion. Helping people wasn’t just a job for him — it was who he was. He showed up for strangers the same way he showed up for family: fully, selflessly, and with determination.
Above all else, Tyler’s proudest and most cherished role was being a father to his daughter, Caia Mae Vail. She was his world. He dedicated himself to being the best father figure he could possibly be — planning adventures, creating memories, and making sure Caia experienced life with excitement, love, and laughter. Whether it was a big outing or a simple day together, Tyler made every moment count.
An avid bodybuilder and creatively driven soul, Tyler expressed himself through fitness, body art, and artistic pursuits. He will be remembered for his bold spirit and magnetic presence — especially his unforgettable laugh. It had a way of breaking tension, drawing people in, and turning ordinary moments into lasting memories. You didn’t just hear Tyler's laugh; you felt it. It carried warmth, mischief, and pure joy, and it was one of the many ways he made everyone around him feel alive and connected.
Tyler is survived by his daughter, Caia Mae Vail; his parents, Stephine (Ross) and Brett Vail; his brother, Travis (fiancé Autumn Brooke Osborne) Vail; his sister, Breanna (Blake) Herbst; his grandparents, Larry Vail, Jean (Bob) Hittle and JoAnn (Skip) Roberts; along with many loving family members and friends.
A celebration of Tyler’s life will take place at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at McCordsville United Methodist Church 6247 W. Broadway McCordsville, IN 46055. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
